An alternative to the now playing topic, if it's too boring then there's a place handy to move it to. Now reading Going Postal by Terry Pratchett, & South Sea Myths and Legends by Donald Mackenzie.

Last thing i read was The Golem's Eyes by Johnathan Stroud, next thing i'm going to read is is one of those series by Garth Nix (with the days of the week), but i'm waiting till i'm on holiday.
Favourite book is Exodus by Julie Bertagna which is set in 2100 and is about the enhabitance an island which is slowly being drowned by rising sea levels due to global warming who, having lost contact with the mainland after a decade of storms earier in the 20's and 30's are forced to sail in out into the ocean in the hope of finding a new city which was meant to have been built to survive the flood. Very good, raises lots of present day issues of global warming, imagration and the effects of decisions and actions. It's written in in present tense too, which really messes with your mind.
Also really like the Deverry series by Katharine Kerr, i've read the first 4, amazingly frank and twisted at times but still good. Read them after finding out that's what the lyrics for the WT song Jillian are based on.
